Watching Joyce Meyer

Do you know who Joyce Meyer is? Have you watched her on TV or read any of her books? Gone to one of her conferences? I’m blessed to be able to say yes to all four questions. Her ministry has had a huge impact on my life. She was horribly abused by her father and betrayed by her first husband, but, OH, how God has used her brokenness to make others whole again. I am one of those who were a mess, but through her example and testimony, was encouraged to make it my message. What is my message, my encouragement for today? There is no one so broken that God’s love and grace can’t make them whole again! Have you ever heard of the verse in Isaiah 42:3? It goes,”He will not break a bruised reed, and He will not put out a smoldering wick; He will faithfully bring justice.” This is such good news on so many levels! The world would break a bruised reed and throw it on a heap to be burned as worthless. But God not only will NOT break the bruised reed, He will bind it up until it is stronger than a reed that has never even been bruised! The world gets annoyed by a smoldering wick and so snuffs it out. But God not only does NOT put it out, He fans it until it ignites back into a full flame! The world is not reliably just, but God is just and can be counted on to bring every cause to true justice, whether here or in the world to come. Of this we can be sure!
Today while watching Joyce’s show “Enjoying Everyday Life”, I listened to her saying she felt she was now living in the glory years. I know how she feels. I believe i’m living a favored and blessed life after more than 50 years of physical, mental, and spiritual agony. I concur with her statement, “I may have had a miserable beginning, but I’m finishing strong!” Praise to Almighty God, He can do the same for you!
